Privacy

Plainly, here's how your information is handled.

This site uses the Meta Pixel to understand visits and advertising performance. The details below explain that tracking, along with the places where you may choose to share information.

Effective September 1, 2026.

The email lists

If you join from the homepage, programs page, or book page, the information collected is your email address, the list you chose, the page where you signed up, and the time of signup. Each list is separate, so joining one does not automatically add you to another.

Signup information is received by Google Apps Script and stored in a private Google Sheet managed for Julia. It is used only for the updates you requested: Julia's occasional letters, new program dates, or news about Born Longing. Your address is never sold or used for advertising.

You can ask to be removed at any time through the connect page. When regular email sending begins, messages will also explain how to unsubscribe.

The contact form

When you write through the connect page, your name, email address, and message are used for exactly one purpose: reading your note and replying to it. They aren't added to any list — joining the email list is always a separate, deliberate step.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses the Meta Pixel, an advertising and measurement tool provided by Meta. When a page loads, the pixel records a page-view event and may collect information such as the page visited, browser and device details, IP address, and identifiers stored in cookies. This information is shared with Meta to measure website activity and understand the effectiveness of advertising.

You can limit this tracking through your browser's cookie and privacy controls or through your Meta advertising preferences. Meta handles information it receives according to its own privacy policy.

Links to other places

Program registration happens on official Art of Living pages, and Julia's social links lead to Instagram and Facebook. Once you're on those sites, their privacy policies apply.

Your choices

Want your address removed, a message deleted, or to know what's on file about you? Write to Julia and it will be sorted out.
